Romanticized fantasies of death. Blood dripping into a dirty bathtub. Music drifting through the house. They find me, pallid and angelic. Frozen in time, immortalized in my depression.  They lift me, stiff and angry, to embalm me. My forgotten past forgets me. Crocodile tears for the sake of a black tie affair.
